Immigration limitations with regard to COVID-19

In accordance with the administration order, Green Cards will be suspended for 60-days. After the said period another 50 days’ delay will be reviewed.

The order will affect:

  • Spouses and children under 21 of green card holders abroad (outside the U.S.)

  • Parents, siblings, and children older than 21 of U.S. citizens residing abroad

  • All employment green cards except the EB-5 (“immigrant investor”)

  • Diversity Visas (Green Card Lottery)

  • Temporary visas (H1-B visas, L-1, H-2B, etc.)

The order will NOT affect:

  • Any green card applicants residing in the United States (“adjustment of status“)

  • Spouses or children under 21 of U.S. citizens

  • Special Immigrant Visas

  • EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-5 Visas, including National Interest Waiver

  • Temporary visas (F-1, M-1, O-1, student visas, etc.)
